Bunch of jokers - Once again proved themselves

Although I am not a hardcore fan of Saurav (Ganguly), but I felt very bad today on hearing the news that Saurav has been sacked from the team for the third cricket test match to be played against Sri Lanka. Selectors proved once again that Mohindar Amarnath was not wrong when he termed the selectors as the "Bunch of Jokers".

I never heard a replacement in the winning combination. That too when Saurav proved his worth by making a good runs in a low scoring match. He played brilliantly but unable to impress the selectors(?) .

Now it is quite evident that politics has taken a good blow in term of Saurav. I know the main sufferer is not Ganguly, but the Cricket itself.

I salute you Mr. Ganguly for your contributions towards the country and cricket.

I can not even laugh after reading the comment of Mr. Deepak. The way he has written just shows how poor knowledge of cricket he has.

I would like to know from Mr. Deepak about the folowing? What do you mean by Person Puja? Does performance matters or not? Do you know anything about partnerships in Test cricket? Do you know that Ganguly was involved in two major (highest run) partnerships in both the eanings? Sorry Mr. Deepak I felt pity on your knowledge about cricket.

Moreover, cursing or praising Greg is not the point. Right now there is no point of coach in selection (although it is going to be). Regarding coach is concern he is doing good job. He worked with Ganguly during the previous test in nets. It shows his professionality.

Anyway, we are going to see some good politics in cricket.

Huh! Now I can laugh too. First of all about the bold comment of Deepak - "And we all know about performance of ganguly in recent past except the last match"

I would like to tell you, even if you leave the last match, he was one of the highest run getters in the previous series. He was the only century maker in the last series. Anyway, I know that Deepak can't differentiate One-dayers and Test cricket. Good! Deepak please start watching it first.

Deepak I should tell you this very clearly (I know you have poor knowledge about it) that its not coach who choose the team. Team is chosen by the group of people known with the name of Selectors. This is a body appointed by the Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI). Hope this will increase some of your knowledge.

Moreover, criticizing selectors for not picking Ganguly does not mean that Coach is bad(or good?). Both are very seperate issued Mr. Deepak.

And regarding the taking my comment back "Bunch of jokers" as advised by Mr. Deepak - I would again like to ask you, Mr. Deepak, to read the original post once again. "Bunch of Jokers" was not the comment given by me... It was given by our veteran Test Cricketer Mr. Mohinder Amarnath. I just told that they have proved that Mr. Amarnath was not wrong.

Hope that these information will help you in understanding things.
